Lily's Bust Dart class

The New York CityCrochet Guild

Presents

A Lily Chin Workshop

World famous fiber designer Lily Chin is repeating her workshop from Chain Link 2008:

“Short-Rowed Bust Darts”

Description:  Tired of that frontal hike-up on your sweaters?  Take a look at how darts can improve the fit of your garments, even if you’re not buxom.  Learn how to translate this shaping technique from sewing terms to crocheting.  See how to place it correctly―how much to add and where―and how to do it in a patterned stitch.  Translate basic principles to beer bellies and dowager humps.

Proficiency Level:  Intermediate, must have a total grasp concept of gauge with the ability to convert measurements into stitches and rows when given a gauge, be very comfortable with math, have made a few garments, be familiar with stitch charts.

The workshop will be held on Saturday, January 24th, 2009, from noon (12pm) until 3 pm.

At a location to be announced at the January meeting and published on the yahoo group.
