Thank you Sondra Watson

It's been just about a year since we held our first Crochet and Chat at Sondra's place of work.  Since then, we have held most of our workshops there.  It is thanks to Sondra's thoughtfulness and careful negotiations between the Guild and the management of 333 E. 23rd that we have had the use of that comfortable conference room, and at no charge to the Guild.  In return, we have made space available at each workshop for some of the residents.

While some have joined us and enjoyed it and others have visited to see what we were learning, they have not been able to take advantage of all the available places, and so now we are teaching beginning crochet there, too.  This is a wonderful way for us to give back, as it gives us a chance, not only to earn our volunteer teaching hours, but to fulfill one of the main aims of the Guild: to spread the beautiful and creative art of crochet.  In the future, we hope to see more residents of 333 E. 23rd at our workshops.

Thanks to Sondra, it's been a wonderful exchange that we hope will continue.
