NYC Crochet Guild
This year's Knit-Out Crochet will be held on Sunday, September 21st from noon to 5 p.m in Union Square Park. The organizational meetings have just begun and Willena and I have been invited to attend. It was agreed that the teaching and Crochet Doctor areas need streamlining, so please give any reactions or suggestions to Willena or me so that we can pass them on at the next meeting.
Crochet starts for the teaching area will again be needed (last year the starts from the cancelled 2001 event were used). To that end, on May 19th from 4.30 to 6.30, Guild members are welcome to come to Lion Brand Yarn (34 West 15th St.) and either stay and stitch for a while, or to stop and pick up prepacked bags of yarn and hooks to work on at home.
