NYC Crochet Guild
My name is Melanie Mays. I'm pleased to be nominated for the position of 1st Vice President. If elected, I hope to serve the membership well. I plan to encourage involvement in activities as well as making old and new members alike feel welcome. Recently, I've collected research for our fundraiser calendar project and I have really enjoyed listening to your ideas and enjoyed trying to find ways to make these ideas become a reality. I love being part of a community of talented, creative women and I know that I've personally benefited from knowing and taking classes with all of you this past year. I've been an avid crocheter since the age of seven.
Crochet brings much joy to my life. I would like to share my joy and enthusiasm with others by serving the New York Crochet Guild as an officer.
