08/07/2003 Meeting Program

• We will make motifs for our bookmarks and use this opportunity to help those who want to brush up on their pattern reading. Please bring your copy of In the Loop with patterns or any others you’d like to use. Some thread will be supplied, but please bring your own hooks and additional thread, embroidery floss or sport yarn you would like to use
• We will make crochet starts for the Knit Out and use this opportunity to teach or refresh beginners on the single crochet stitch and turning to make a square. Yarn and hooks will be provided for this.
• Anyone who would like help with a calendar design project should bring it along and we will try to match you up with a helper.
• Guild Business: Knit Out updates, etc.
• Show’n’Tell
• Resource Center opens at 8 p.m

• Motifs for our KOC2003 bookmarks
• A square of last month’s stitch of the month for charity
• Other donations for our charity projects
• Something for show and tell
• Samples and labels of your yarns for the Yarn Library (give to Willena)
• Pictures of crocheted items from any publications (with name and date) for our file (give to Willena)
• Any original pattern or article you’d like to contribute to next month’s newsletter (give to Barbara)
