NYC Crochet Guild
One of our favorite visiting teachers, Prudence Mapstone, is offering a two-hour workshop on Monday, December 8th from 6 to 8 p.m. Possibly easier to master than the crochet bullion, the block stitch is another way to add textural interest to your crochet, and is a stitch that Prudence has been recently incorporating into many of her freeform creations. Come and learn the basic stitch, and discover how it can be incorporated into various motifs and medallions, or be used to create interesting textured braids. After we master this new stitch, Prudence will be happy to answer any questions we might have about our freeform—bring your works in progress.
This two-hour workshop is limited to 12 participants and will cost $25 for Guild members and $35 for guests.
