NYC Crochet Guild
We are expanding our beginners program at E. 23rd St. and are now charging a very reasonable fee to the students in the group and would like to continue to offer them classes.
We need our advanced members (whether or not you have taken the CIP course) to make the commitment to teach in four-week sessions. Anyone who teaches two four-week stints (and is not teaching for CIP volunteer hours) will receive a year’s extension of their membership. So if you would like to teach, here is an excellent opportunity to do so in a small class environment and to help the Guild, too.
We are looking into the possibility of opening spaces in the class to our members, too, so if you would like to join the class, either as student or teacher, please contact the guild.
Important note for those who took the CIP Course last year: if you received an extension to complete your volunteer teaching hours, that time is almost up—our class started last year on February 7th, so you need to submit your paperwork immediately!
