From the President

I would like to wish everyone a Happy New Year. I hope that everyone completed all their crocheted projects for the holidays. I was able to complete my sweaters, vests and shawl for gifts and a Christmas sweater for myself. I think the year 2004 was a very productive crochet year. I learned from the past year that when I put my mind and heart into something I am able to complete it.

My New Year's Resolutions are:

1. To only buy from yarn stores that treat their customers as number one. This past year I went to a yarn sale. I noticed that, on the same brand of yarn, there were different prices for different colors. The store owner removed the lower price sticker and charged the higher price. There wasn’t a huge difference in price, but I have not been back since that day.

2. To submit at least three designs to crochet magazines.

3. To remember that incidents/events happen for a reason and that I can overcome any challenge if I continue to progress forward.

4. To finished projects at least one week in advance instead of the night before. (Whom am I kidding)

May you have a Healthy and Happy New Year.
