NYCCG Resource Center

I have had the privilege of seeing the Resource Center grow from one bin to three bins in the last couple of months. Credit must be given to all the members who have borrowed as well as those who have contributed.

First let me give thanks to some of our members who recently contributed. Prudence Mapstone was kind enough to give us:

“Bullions and Beyond” by Prudence Mapstone

Also Barbara Williams gave us a wonderful resource book called: “Encyclopedia of 300 Crochet patterns, stitches and designs” by Phyllis Mayfield

We are lucky to also have received contributions of books on other wonderful stitchery. Nancy Fuentes gave us:

“Nature in Needlepoint” by Eva Brent and Meg Merrill

“Herbs and Medicinal Plants in Cross- Stitch” by The Danish Handcraft Guild

“Children’s Classics in Counted Cross-Stitch” by Ginnie Thompson

All of the above books are available from the resource center for any member to borrow at any time. There have been contributions from many others that I did not mention, so to them I say “thanks”.
