Workshop Review and Resource Center

The guild recently offered a class by Tatyana Mirer in Crocheted Bruges lace, and I had the pleasure of taking it. The class was a new technique to many of us there. Tatyana showed us a variety of items that she created with the Bruges lace technique that surely inspired us all. This workshop was so intense that time flew by for us in the classroom. I certainly enjoyed myself and am sure the other members did too. I will continuously try to create; however Tatyana’s work is one of a kind. For those who took the class and even those who want to do other things with Bruges lace, the following periodicals have projects to work on:

Crochet! Magazine, March 2005: Queen of Hearts Doily

Decorative Crochet, Sept. 2001: Bruges Lace Cushion

Since not everyone likes the same things the following is also different:

Beadwork Magazine, August/September 2004: Lady Fair Crocheted Bracelet.

These are a few samples of Magazines that the Resource Center has for lending. There is always something available for everyone.
