Member Barbara Hillery was interviewed by Carrie Melago of the NY Daily News on 3/10, regarding the Martha poncho. The article was syndicated all over the US the following day.
Member Lily Chin not only designed the Interweave Press version of the Martha Poncho, but crocheted it on the CBS morning show and gave a crochet lesson on nationwide TV. The weatherman wore the finished poncho. Reports are that it looked pretty good on him!
Member Lily Chin was one of the judges on Craft Corner Deathmatch, where she crocheted throughout the show.
