Hello, I hope everyone is enjoying the summer. I recently returned from the Barbie Convention after participating in the fashion show in which I replicated an adult size Barbie outfit. The name of the doll is TaTu Barbie designed by Bryon Lars. I had a number of participants ask me what I was going to wear for the Fashion Show. They really appreciated the fact that I crocheted the entire outfit and that crochet can look truly fashionable. Although they may never pick up a crochet hook, it is great they recognize all of the hard work and hours that goes in to a hand made item.
