From the President

The next couple of months are filled with many different crocheting and knitting events and I hope that you will be able to participate in at least one. It is important to take care of yourself by attending an event that helps you see the different styles, techniques, and yarns that are available for crocheters. These events will show you many other things too, and I hope that you use what you learn to crochet a blanket, shawl, scarf, or hat for charity. I think that the past month has shown us how important charity work is, and that we must never forget that in America there is always someone who can use our help.

I would like to announce the birth of my niece, Kailey. She was born on September 14, 2005.
