From The President

In the last five years the Guild has grown, not only in number of members but in ideas and the creativity of its members. Just think back over the last five years and what you have accomplished as a crocheter. I know I have created more crocheted sweaters and have brought tons and tons of yarn. Moreover, the fashion industry is using crochet more extensively, to the point where it now seems commonplace to see at least one crocheted item in the stores during the spring and summer months. Thus, based on the showing of crochet and the continued success of its members in promoting crochet, the Guild can only continue to grow.

As we prepare to nominate and elect a new board for the Guild, remember that new faces and new ideas continue to make the Guild grow. Why not run for an office and bring fresh and new ideas to a board that is changing? The Board is there to help the Guild continue to grow, and it needs its members to be part of that growing change.
