Back to Basics Day

On January 29, we will have a Back to Basics Day.

From 10 to 11 we will have a Basic Stitch Review and then from 11:15 to 1:30 we will learn Pattern Reading (both taught by Barbara Hillery). These are for beginners who have a bit of familiarity with basic stitches or for those who would like a refresher on the above topics. From 1:30 until 4, we’ll have Crochet’n’Chat with Crochet Doctor. Those working on a pattern can stay and work for as long as they’d like. Others are welcome to join us at any point. If you need inspiration, we will provide a few patterns for charity crochet. If you are stuck on a particular project, you are welcome to bring it for help at this time, too. You don’t have to take all components—it’ll be mix’n’match. Cost of the Stitch Review and Pattern Reading parts is $25 for NYCCG members and $30 for guests. Crochet’n’Chat is free.
