Bruges Lace Workshop

Tatyana Mirer will teach us to make crocheted Bruges Lace on Saturday, February 12 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Bruges Lace is an intricate form of lace originally made with bobbins. But the same look can be achieved with crochet. In this workshop, you will learn the crocheted Bruges lace technique, by making five different basic shapes. Along the way, you will learn the fine technique of reading the abbreviations and symbols. By the end of the day, you'll know how to make two projects: a lace scarf and the Christmas tree.

Cost will be $40 for NYCCG members and $50 for guests. Registration will take place at the February meeting, where Tatyana will show us some samples of this wonderful technique.
