Materials
StitchesBSC – sc made with a bead – slide bead close to hook, insert hook into next sc drawing up a loop, yo and go through both loops on hook, bead will show up on right side of work. Puff - yo insert hook around post of next stitch from front to back to front again (Fpdc), draw a loop, yo insert hook around post of same stitch drawing up a loop, yo and go through only two loops, yo insert hook around post of same stitch drawing up a loop, yo and go through all loops (6) on hook. BPSC- insert hook from the back to front then back again, draw a loop then complete sc. InstructionsCh (Make an odd number according to your measurement and hip or waist placement preference) Row 1 (RS): Sc into 2nd ch from hook and into each ch across. Ch 1. Turn. Row 2 (WS): Sc into 1st st, *BSC in next sc, sc in next sc*. Rep from * to * around ending with sc into last sc, ch 1. Turn. Row 3: Sc into 1st st and into each st across, ch 3. Turn. Row 4: Dc into next sc, *Puff in next sc, dc in next sc*. Rep from * to * around until last two sc. Dc in last 2 sc, ch 1. Turn. Row 5: Sc into 1st st, BPSC into each st across. Ch 1. Turn. Row 6: Sc into 1st st, *BSC in next sc, sc in next sc*. Rep from * to * to end. Ch 1. Turn. Rnd 7: Work around entire belt. Sc into 1st sc. *Sc into each st and placing 3 sc in corner st at each corner*. Rep from * to * around. Ch 1. Turn. (This will be the Wrong Side). Rnd 8: BSC into every sc around border, ending with sl st into last sc. Finishing: Cut yarn twice the length of desired fringe to create tassels. Knot beads in different positions throughout fringe. Fold fringe in half, bring through opening. Pull up a loop and bring other end through loop and pull tightly.
